Sunset, a vast forest, a hidden valley, a day hike. Deep forests are not the first thing that pop to your mind when thinking about Belgium. But if you search well, there are some hidden gems out there. Being forced to be prudent with corona, we spent our hollidays in search of places where nature still rules, like this one. This amazing trail is just a short steep hike up from the Montserrat Monastery on the Montserrat Mountain. Yet, little people do the efford to hike up here. (Their loss!) Hiking the beautiful mointains around Barcelona. #firstweekend It is really amazing how they managed to keep all the buildings outside this nature reserve. You only encounter a small cute village once in a while. When you look down, you have a beautiful view on Barcelona and the sea behind it. Crazy that this hike starts just 30 minutes by metro from the busy #ramblas. The contrast couldn't be bigger. The trail is also part of the Sender Mediterraneo which is a trail that spans 822 km along the coast from #Tarifa to #Banyuls-sur-Mer. #GR6 #GR92 #SenderMediterraneo #hiking #Barcelona #hills #mountains

Driven over 800km with this baby so far across this absolutely beautiful country. Couldn't agree more with @tuktukrental that a #tuktuk is THE way to #explore #Srilanka. My favorites are the small roads next to the #lakes and ricefields. Or stopping along to way to have a fresh #kingcoconut from a local.
Before my trip I was a bit afraid from the heat, but the natural airco is the best and very effective 😉

Stunningly beautiful #hike to the #ninearchesbridge in #Ella #Srilanka. Built entirely out of brick, rock and cement; without a single piece of steel; the bridge has stood solid from 1921. It is part of the train trip from Ella to Kandy, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful train trips in the world.
